The Laba Festival carries a thousand-year-old cultural heritage, its origins traceable to the ancient custom of "Laba Sacrifice." In ancient times, people would hold sacrificial ceremonies in the twelfth lunar month (Laba month) to worship heaven and earth and ancestors, praying for a bountiful harvest and peace in the coming year. "Laba" originated from this traditional sacrificial occasion. Over time, drinking Laba porridge has become the most representative custom of the festival. This custom can be traced back to the Song Dynasty. The ancients cooked various grains, beans, and dried fruits into porridge, symbolizing the gathering of all things and family reunion, as well as expressing their hopes for a bountiful harvest and blessings for life.

At 9:00 AM, the distribution of Laba porridge was carried out in an orderly manner in designated areas such as the company cafeteria and reception area. Staff members, dressed in uniform, handed out warm Laba porridge to employees one by one, offering warm greetings such as "Happy Laba Festival" and "Keep warm," which, along with the aroma of the porridge, touched the hearts of every employee. Receiving the steaming porridge, employees' faces beamed with happiness. Some tasted it on the spot, savoring the rich flavor of this traditional delicacy; others packed it up to take home, wanting to share this festive sweetness with their families. Everyone sat together, chatting about Laba customs and interesting stories of the festival. Laughter filled the air, creating a strong festive atmosphere and bringing everyone closer together.
