Rooted in Indonesia, Nurturing the Future | Liugong University's First Overseas Branch Campus Officially Inaugurated
On December 9th, the Indonesian branch of LiuGong University (hereinafter referred to as the Indonesian branch) was officially inaugurated at the Jakarta National Institute of Technology in Depok, West Java. Yudil Chatim, Education and Culture Counselor of the Indonesian Embassy in China, Lu Lei, Senior Director of Human Resources of LiuGong Corporation, Tan Xingping, Director of Human Resources of LiuGong Corporation, Lin Long, General Manager of LiuGong Indonesia, Syamsurizal, President of the Jakarta National Institute of Technology, and presidents and department heads from several Indonesian universities attended the inauguration ceremony.


Established in 2019, LiuGong University has built a comprehensive training system encompassing six centers and 13 professional colleges, covering leadership, professional technology, strategy, and general capabilities. To date, LiuGong University has trained over 210,000 employees worldwide, serving as a crucial talent support platform for LiuGong's global operations.


LiuGong has been collaborating with several universities in Indonesia for many years. The establishment of the Indonesian branch campus not only marks LiuGong's first overseas talent development base but will also further promote the integration of the vocational education systems of the two countries. In the future, students are expected to obtain dual certificates from both China and Indonesia and enhance their skills through practical training at LiuGong's manufacturing plant in Indonesia, achieving a smooth transition from the classroom to the workplace.




In his speech, Lin Long said, "The establishment of the Indonesian branch is an important measure for LiuGong to fulfill its localization commitment and empower regional talents. We hope to become a co-builder of Indonesia's education ecosystem through continuous educational cooperation."

The Indonesian branch will work with partner universities to promote scholarships, skills training, internship certifications, skills competitions, and other programs to help Indonesian youth improve their vocational skills and employment competitiveness, and provide lasting talent support for local industrial development and economic growth.

In the future, LiuGong will also collaborate with partner universities to invest in professional training equipment. This equipment will not only serve daily teaching and operational training but will also be integrated into the social emergency response system. In the event of emergencies such as disaster relief and rescue, LiuGong will quickly activate its emergency response mechanism to ensure that equipment is deployed for rescue operations as soon as possible, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and safeguarding community safety through concrete actions.
